Rockstar Explains Grand Theft Auto 5 Delay

  1. Evil Fefe
Rockstar has recently went on the record to dismiss all rumors about the GTA V delay. A representative from Rockstar has explained sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment, and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV.

Some gamers have been speculating that the delay could have meant a version of GTAV was being made for the next generation of consoles. Quickly dismissing that rumour, a Rockstar representative stated to those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.

Rockstar has also apologized for the delay of the official box art that was supposed to be revealed in January, stating it will be coming out a bit later as well.

How do you feel about GTA V's delay to September 17th, were you hoping to get your hands on GTA V much sooner or does this delay make you feel more confident in the overall quality of GTA V?
