Pokemon Go is getting its first-ever in-game event for Halloween.

Developer Niantic Labs and The Pokemon Company announced the event today, which runs October 26 through November 1. During that time, some of the game's "spookiest" creatures will show up more often, including Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Hypno, and Zubat.

Additionally, players can earn even more Pokemon Candy during the event. With every Pokemon you catch, you'll six Candies, which is two times the normal amount. Additionally, the professor will give you two Candies instead of one every time you transfer a Pokemon to him.

"It's been incredible watching people explore their neighborhoods and catch wild Pokemon all summer," Niantic senior product manager Tatsuo Nomura said in a statement. "We would like to trick-or-treat in our own special way by giving Trainers the chance to catch more Pokemon and earn extra Candy this Halloween."
