If I was to ask a handful of Call of Duty fans what their favorite Black Ops map was, the majority of them would most likely end up responding with Nuketown. Treyarch originally introduced us to Nuketown in 2010, and it was an enormous success, and after Modern Warfare 3, we were reintroduced to the map in 2012 with Treyarch's Black Ops 2. As of today, Activision has confirmed that a map entitled "Nuk3town" will be free to those who pre-ordered the game for either the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC. Unfortunately, Nuk3town will not be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Nuk3town will be set in the year 2065. However, after scrutinizing the concept art for a few seconds, it became quite clear that this isn't the Nuketown we all knew and loved. As expected, it looks much more futuristic and advanced, which for me, is an automatic turn off. In a brief statement with Mark Lamia, the Treyarch head, he explained more about the upcoming map. "We carefully adapted the design of the map to make sure that it fit with our new movement system, but to also make sure that we retained the spirit and the fun that made fans fall in love with it in the first place," said Lamia. Here's the concept art that Activision recently shared with the public.

I'm still hesitant on whether or not I want to purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. As a young kid, I remember spending the majority of my time playing Black Ops on the Nintendo Wii, trick-shotting and goofing around with my friends on Nuketown or Firing Range. I was able to do the same with Black Ops 2, however, this just isn't the map I remember it to be. It's just too different for my personal liking. What are your opinions on the upcoming map? Let me know in the comments below. Black Ops 3 will be available on November 6th.

I am honestly not surprised they are bringing Nuketown on the next Black Ops, it has been on the other two so why not the third? Looks interesting. (:

*gags* how about something original... Telling a joke the first time is funny. The second time a giggle. The third time you want a new one.

Asking Activision for originality is like asking Kanye West to not act like a child

It's not Nuketown anymore. The layout is different which affects traffic flow and choke spots and this will also affect how modes like Domination and Headquarters are played say. Black Ops 2 was the last time they should of revived this map.

    But good article nonetheless.
