Today will be a big day for Android users! Google is expected to launch the highly anticipated Nexus 5 which will come with Android 4.4, also known as 'KitKat'.

Apparently, the company will be unveiling the Nexus 5 today at 8am PST, and it will start shipping tomorrow November 1. Starting at 8am PST or not, we will still see the Nexus 5 before midnight, so stay tuned for more info.

The Nexus 5 will feature a 4.95" screen with 1080p resolution, a snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.3GHz, with 2GB of RAM, capacity of 16 or 32GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 1.3 megapixel frontal camera, and the almighty Android 4.4, also know as 'KitKat'.

The Nexus 5 will be the first Android device to run 'KitKat' OS, but this is not limited only to the Nexus 5, since the OS will be available for update on other devices as well. One of the features of the new 'KitKat' OS is the replacement of the native SMS app with Google Hangouts, which has its own SMS.

Rumours suggest that the Nexus 5 will be available for the same price as the Nexus 4 at launch, and that T-Mobile will list the device the same day that it's announced. Google updated the looks of the Play Devices web store, which could mean that they're making preparations for the Nexus 5 listing.
