Naughty Dog continues to update and support Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's multiplayer mode. The developer has pushed out a new update--don't expect any new features, however.
The focus of update 1.17.045 is bug fixes, of which there are four main ones. As posted on the Uncharted 4 patch notes website, this patch fixes problems like the ability to hear an opponent's microphone before a ranked team deathmatch game. The update also fixes an issue where some players could lose their Trials and Ranked team deathmatch progression in some cases. You can see the full patch notes below.
In other news about Uncharted 4's multiplayer mode, Naughty Dog has delayed the second testing period for the game's Classic Mode. According to the developer, an issue involving profile progress was recently discovered, meaning Naughty Dog had to delay the next Classic Mode test until November 18--it was previously slated to begin on November 11TH.
The first Uncharted 4 Classic Mode testing period was held earlier this month via the game's Beta Test playlist, through which the developer tests new modes and features. Classic Mode is described as a "back-to-basics" mode that does not include an in-match store, radar, mystical items, or sidekicks.
Looking ahead, Naughty Dog is working on even more free multiplayer DLC. Additionally, the studio is developing a single-player expansion for Uncharted 4, though there is no word on specifics at this stage.
