Throughout this past week, we have learned a plethora of new information regarding Crystal Dynamics' upcoming title, Rise of the Tomb Raider, that should excite the majority of you, especially if you're a PlayStation or PC fan. Let's jump right into the news. Square Enix announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on the PS4 and PC in 2016. PC gamers will be able to play the game in early 2016, however, the PlayStation 4 version will not be appearing in stores until "Holiday 2016." Xbox One and Xbox 360 fans will still be receiving the game on November 10th, 2015.

Sure, this announcement was quite wonderful, but there is still more news to be discussed. Crystal Dynamics' creative director, Brian Horton, confirmed over Twitter that Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One is currently running at 1080p. NX Gamer drummed up controversy after posting a preview suggesting that the demo was only outputting at 900p, however, Horton said that 'it was indeed running at full-HD.' The resolution has yet to be officially announced, but Horton mentioned earlier in the year during an interview with GamingBolt that Crystal Dynamics was aiming for 1080p.
