Super Smash Bros fans unite! Looks like two long awaited characters will finally be added to the game. Mewtwo and Lucas will finally be making an appearance in the new Super Smash Bros game for Nintendo 2D/3DS and Wii U. Unfortunately for some, these new characters are going to be paid DLC from the looks of the trailer (around the 6:11 mark). Mewtwo will be available on April 28th for $3.99 USD for the 3DS and Wii U separately or for $4.99 for both consoles. Lucas on the other hand does not currently have an announced price, but will be released sometime in June according to the trailer.

Don't get too down in the dumps though, if you happen to have registered your copy of Super Smash Bros on Club Nintendo prior to March 31st, 2015, you will receive a FREE download for Mewtwo on April 15th, 2015. Many players tend to ignore Mewtwo as he's a hard character to work with, but once/if you master him, he's definitely a power house to be reckoned with. There currently isn't a Tier List for SSB4 released by Smash Back Room for SSB4, but in SSBM, Mewtwo was ranked at B-21. For those who don't understand what that means, check out THIS wiki page. As for Lucas, his only other appearance in the Smash Bros universe is in Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii. His character is another popular Earthbound citizen, like Ness.
