With the Wii-U having been out for awhile now, you would think that Nintendo would be prioritizing 1st releases, especially ones as interesting as Mario Maker. This doesn't seem to be the case, however, as several games that were originally set to release in early 2015 have now been set to later in 2015. When Mario Maker was first shown at E3 in 2014, the release date was set to sometime in the first half of 2015. It seemed like it might have been the most anticipated game to come to the Wii-U in 2015, however some people were turned off by the fact that the release date changed be almost half a year.

For those of you unaware, Mario Maker is a game that allows players to create or recreate their very own Mario maps using classic objects such as pipes, bricks, blocks and flags in the same 2d universe that we all know and love. Mario Maker also allows players to let other players around the world play on their created maps. This is interesting because it allows people to have an endless supply of game levels allowing every playthrough to be new and exciting.

In this pool of delayed releases, some developers are sticking to their word and have kept their release date to what they said it would be. These games include Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Tipping Stars, Mario Party 10, Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Project Giant Robot and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. You have to consider if this delay is Nintendo taking the opportunity to improve upon some features so that everyone has a great time with their game, or if this is them struggling to release a quality product.
