In preparation for Star Wars's annual day-based-entirely-on-a-bad-joke May 4 celebration, PC retailer GOG is running a sale based around the legendary sci-fi property. Nearly 20 games are included in the promotion, with each title currently available for 77% off. (The original Star Wars was, of course, released in 1977.)

That means Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005), Knights of the Old Republic, and Knights of the Old Republic II are each on offer for $2.29 (£1.89). Other classics are also discounted, including Dark Forces ($1.37 / £1.19), Republic Commando ($2.29 / £1.89), and Empire at War ($4.59 / £3.69). The discounts will be available until the sale ends on May 12.

The Battlefront series got rebooted in 2015 with EA's Star Wars Battlefront. Its sequel was recently revealed with a new trailer, while the full game is scheduled to arrive on November 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The FPS features a campaign set up in a new novel and an offline co-op mode that's not available on PC, as well as multiplayer modes introduced in the 2015 reboot.
