Limited Edition 'Gears of War 4' Console & Controllers Announced

With the base game inching its way towards an official release in just a few months, Microsoft has unveiled a custom Gears of War 4 Xbox One S console that will be priced at $449.99. Pre-orders will begin shipping as early as mid-September. This announcement also marks the first widely available custom Xbox One S after the original announcement for the S console only 4 weeks ago.

The bundle will include a custom-designed 2TB Xbox One S, a matching "Crimson Omen" controller, Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition for Xbox Play Anywhere, the game's Season Pass, early access beginning October 7th, a multiplayer emblem, character and weapon skins, and six "Gear" packs containing additional in-game items.

Microsoft also unveiled two more Gears of War 4 themed controllers. The first is based on the game's protagonist, JD Fenix, and his grey and blue armor, priced at $74.99. This controller will be released as a GameStop and Microsoft Store exclusive and will provide players with three "Gear" packs. The second is a custom-designed Elite controller which is available to pre-order for $199.99.
