Hitman GO Coming to PlayStation 4 and PC


Today Square Enix Montréal announced that they would be continuing the Hitman flow by releasing Hitman GO: Definitive Edition on Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. Get ready to enter a brand new world of assassination on February 23rd in North America, and February 24th in Europe. The popular turn-based strategy game will be available for gamers to buy for the low price of $7.99. PlayStation 4 and PS Vita owners will be able to take advantage of the cross-buy feature when buying the game. “We are very excited to be bringing Hitman GO to even more players with this revisited edition. We hope the challenging turn-based gameplay will please even the most dedicated Hitman fans,” said Patrick Naud, Head of Studio for Square Enix Montreal. Chosen by Apple as one of the best apps of 2014 and given multiple mobile gaming awards, Hitman GO should be a purchase all fans of the series should consider.

For those of you who don't know, Hitman GO is a turn-based strategic game that reimagines the Hitman universe as diorama-style set pieces. Players will have to navigate through fixed spaces on a grid in freeze-frame styled environments in order to achieve their objective. The Definitive Edition will feature all of the original content in the mobile game, along with a few tweaks and upgrades to adjust for the console and PC gamers. The Definitive Edition will come with improved visuals, new control schemes for the two new platforms, achievements for both Steam and PlayStation gamers, including a Platinum trophy for those on PlayStation. Leaving the house? PS4 and PS Vita owners will also be able to utilize a cross-save function that will allow players to transfer game saves between the console and handled device, allowing gamers take Hitman on the go.
