Hitman began with Agent 47 being sent on a spree of assassinations in Paris earlier this year and has already traveled to the fictional Italian seaside villa, Sapienza, back in April. Hitman: Episode 3 will be sending Agent 47 to the city of Marrakesh on May 31. Io Interactive has also confirmed that much more live content will be coming with Marrakesh, including new Elusive Targets and Escalation Contracts.

Marrakesh presents as a tourist destination, with an excess of shops, stalls, and more. As lovely as the city is presented, there are many issues that are being hidden to the world. With a Swedish consulate just outside Marrakesh, a heavy military presence has been placed throughout the city. Civil unrest is at an all time high with a populace that could begin the fight at any moment.

As part of the "Gilded Age" mission, there will be two targets to eliminate in Marrakesh. One of which is General Reza Zaydan, who is surrounded by a squad of elite guards in the middle of the Marrakesh. The other target is is a private banker named Claus Strandberg, who is hiding out in the Swedish Consulate building.

Marrakesh can be purchased as part of the $49.99 upgrade that includes all releases thus far along with future releases or as standalone downloadable content for $9.99. If you haven't played the game at all, you can purchase the Full Experience Pack for $59.99, which includes the intro pack along with all locations, past and future.

Hitman: Episode 3 is going to be released on May 31st for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming content making its way into Hitman? With the previous episode surpassing the original in ratings, do you think Marrakesh can live up to the growing expectations? Let us know in the comments below!

Still find this episodic stuff absolute BS. Many people like me have to wait until January for the complete game on disc.

I hate it as well, thing is the story of the game probably won't even end up being that long, so it could be to make the game feel longer, as the last one was really short.

Its a bit rubbish being able to complete each episode so quick but they are quite detailed, I've done a couple escalations which were quite fun

Although I agree about the last being short, I enjoyed it

I haven't played Hitman before, but I could imagine my frustration with this, being episodic like this probably ruins the pacing of the game.
