Rockstar Games has announced this week's new content, sales, and special events for Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode. Starting with the new content, a new vehicle--the Pfister Comet SR--is now available to buy from Legendary Motorsport. As you can see in the video below, it's a slick-looking, sporty vehicle that we can only presume goes really, really fast.
Also new in GTA Online this week are opportunities to earn extra GTA$ and RP. All Gunrunning Sell missions and Special Vehicle missions pay double GTA$ and RP, as do the Air Quota mode and the 32 Transform mode races created by Rockstar.
In terms of discounts, now through March 6, you can save 25 percent on a number of vehicles including the Mammoth Avenger, P-996 Lazer, and Vapid Riata. Additionally, Facility upgrades are on sale. You can see a full rundown of this week's discounts below.
Meanwhile, this week's Premium race is "City Air" (sports vehicles only), while the weekly Time Trial event is "Vinewood Bowl." This event challenges players to ride from the Vinewood Bowl all the way across the map to Paleto Cove. As always, the Premium Race pays GTA$ to the top three finishers, while all participants get triple RP. For the Time Trial, everyone who beats the par time gets an allotment of GTA$ and RP.
Everyone who logged into GTA Online between February 16 and 26 is getting a "San Andreas State Tax Refund" of GTA$ 250,000. Additionally, you could have earned up to GTA $1 million, depending on how much you spent during the promotional period. These funds should arrive into your Maze Bank account before March 6.
