For those hardcore Android fans out there, the weeks of waiting for Google / LG to surface some information on its Nexus 5 smartphone have finally paid off. If you have visited the Play Store recently, you would have seen the new, flashy Nexus 5 on their “products page”.

Listed right alongside the Nexus 10 and 7 devices, the Nexus 5 was listed for a decent retail price of $349. Which, in case you haven’t been following preceding rumors, fits snuggly in the price range of $299 to $399 for the 16GB variant. However, upon clicking the link to proceed to view more information, there was simply “no page available”. Google has since taken down the display; making the current-gen Nexus 4 appear once more.

Manufacturer LG, the South Korean multinational corporation, plans to ship the device alongside Google’s new mobile OS, 4.4 KitKat as well as offer a 32GB device for around $449. The Nexus 5 will likely be sold in the upcoming weeks, thanks to recent accessory rumors that suggest a late October release date.

Will you be purchasing the Nexus 5? If so, does the 32GB storage size take your fancy, or will you go for the 16GB version ? Let us know in the comments below.
