November is just around the corner and with the new month comes a new lineup for Xbox Live's Games with Gold program. Contrary to previous months, however, Games with Gold will now feature double the games provided for Xbox One owners, with two Xbox 360 games being added to the roster with backwards compatibility support. Backwards compatibility support will start on November 12, and Xbox One players will be allowed to play with any of their friends whether they're on the Xbox One or the Xbox 360. If Xbox enthusiasts have never made the upgrade to the Xbox One, this backwards compatibility launch with Games with Gold will unite Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners together to play multiplayer Xbox 360 games.

As for the games offered in November's lineup, Xbox One players can look forward to Pneuma: Breath of Life and Knight Squad. The latter game is a first-person puzzle game where the player controls Pneuma in a search for the "Breath of Life". Players will get to navigate through a beautiful environment crafted in Unreal Engine 4, while they tax their brain in their attempts to solve puzzles and pass obstacles. Knight Squad is the second free Xbox One title this month, and is described on its Steam page as "Bomberman meets Gauntlet". The game can support up to 8 players in an arena where knights face off against opponents using weapons and magic. Pneuma: Breath of Life will be available from November 1 until November 30, and Knight Squad will be available from November 16 to December 15.

Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will be able to play DiRT 3 and Dungeon Siege III. In DiRT 3, players will participate in racing off the tracks. The game offers many different game modes to be played such as a Capture the Flag variant and even a Zombie Infection mode. Dungeon Siege III was developed by Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas) and released in 2011. In this action RPG, players can select one of four characters with their own story and motive to reclaim their fantasy world of Ehb. DiRT 3 will be available starting November 1 up to November 15, and Dungeon Siege III will be available November 16 until November 30.

As is the case for Games with Gold, these games will only be free while they are on rotation. If any of these games strike you as something you'll want to play, make sure to get them while they're available.

It's so Uplifting to see Synchronization btwn past & current Gen to play OnlineMP regardless of system (as becomes compatible on XBone). Makes that XBone free mapping "pro" controller that much more Zest to have an upgraded play of classic 360 Online games x3

Dungeon Siege 3 is being released. Not sure if you meant to write that or not but if not, just thought I'd let you know that DS3 is coming.
