Well would you look at that, another month has ended! Now it's time for a fresh batch of titles to be released for Xbox Live's "Games with Gold" promotion. So what will we be able to get are hands on this time around? We will be seeing Gears of War and Shoot Many Robots.
Epic's gruesome third-person shooter, Gears of War will be rearing its head on December 1st. This is the first-installment of an amazing series that has set a course for success and helped the Xbox 360 gain popularity through out its early years. The story revolves around Delta Team and their last-ditch effort to defend the last surviving human against the merciless, subterranean race known as the Locust Horde. The game is known for its trademark cover system that which, in turn; gave players a new and challenging perspective on third-person shooters. The campaign is a good 7-8 hours long and can either be played solo or with a friend in co-op. The multiplayer pits the COG and Locust against each other in 4v4 matches. The intense, gory battles, awe-inducing scenery and challenging multiplayer could keep you on your couch for who knows how long.
On December 15th, the arcade game, Shoot Many Robot will be available. This run-and-gun style action game will have you and three other players team up against a large amount of robots to keep them from taking over the world. There are two types of game modes you can play in Shoot Many Robots. You can either play stages from start to finish or gear up against increasingly-stronger enemies in survival mode. You will be able to equip different weapons, skills and special attacks to help give you an advantage. Pick up money(Nuts) from fallen robots to upgrade or buy new equipment. This sounds like a enjoyable game that you can play with your friends to pass the time.
