This month Microsoft are giving Xbox Live members two free games with an added bonus, we will be given the option to download Crackdown and Dead Rising 2 free of charge, bundled with Dead Rising 2 we will also have DR2: Case Zero.
Starting August 1st Xbox Live Gold members will be able to pick up an Xbox 360 classic for free, Crackdown. Crackdown was a big hit on the Xbox 360, it is an open world third person shooter set in the near future. You become a genetically modified Agent and you have super strength, it is your job to put an end to the evil crime syndicates that plague the city. It had record breaking sales and many will argue that this is because it came with the Halo 3 BETA.
This month is also different, on the 15th of August we are being given Dead Rising 2, along with DR2: Case Zero. Dead Rising 2, developed by Capcom and Blue Castle, is an open world survival game where the player is bombarded with hordes of Zombies. DR2 includes a crafting feature where the player can create their own weapons using other objects. DR2: Case Zero is a short game, it was made to bridge the gap between Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2, but nonetheless it is still a fun game to play.
