Fans of Bethesda Softworks' Skyrim and Fallout series are no strangers to spending in excess of 100 hours simply exploring their surroundings. On November 10th, it would probably be wise to clear your calendars and cancel your holiday plans. Why is that?

According to Fallout 4's Lead Producer, Jeff Gardiner; who spoke recently with Official Xbox Magazine.

"I've played the game for probably 400 hours, and I'm still finding stuff that I haven't seen."

This is due in large part to the new crafting system that has been put into place for Fallout 4. Which is by far the most intricate and extensive of any Fallout game. Gardiner goes on to talk about how players go about scavenging for some very specific items.

"It's all very common sense visual stuff. If it doesn't connect to the generator, the power doesn't work. You can actually flag stuff to say, 'I'm looking for this stuff because I want to make this' which means that when you're scavenging, anything that meets the requirement gets flagged in the world."

Gardiner continues to explain. "When you connect stuff to the computer terminal you have a lot of control and sort of fine tuning. If you've got something that plays music, you can actually define how it's playing music."

So sinners, will Fallout 4's wide open gameplay, deep and detailed crafting system, and the recently announced PC styled mods be enough to ruin your social life? Let us know in the comments below.

I think they should have incorperate a co-op (one friend only) instead of the dog. That way if your friend has something you dont, you could trade. Maybe a drop in drop out system. Have some real FALLOUT adventures with your friends.

So glad I managed to snag a Pip-Boy edition of this game. I can't wait to play it and if it really does exceed 400 Hours, I'll be in heaven.

He forgot to mention that 380 hours of that gameplay was of him walking around the map trying to find new items.

Very excited for this. But not getting it on PC. F3 and New Vegas are some of the worst PC ports ever. Not making that mistake again.

400 hours, huh? That's about 20 hours for me.
