Today an anonymous person has uploaded gameplay footage of the long awaited game in the Fallout series, Fallout 4. The footage, which can be seen here starts off in a town called Lexington and right away you can see your canine companion darting along ahead of you, most likely scouting for enemies and looking for supplies. Soon the player encounters Legendary Feral Ghoul Roamers and quickly makes use of V.A.T.S to destroy one with his Machine Gun. I'm sure Fallout fans are quite happy to see the advanced targeting system which allows for precise shots with any weapon make a return.
The player quickly switches to a laser rifle which has been fitted with a Holographic sight. As he shoots at the ghouls, damaged limbs fall off while they still continue to attack. This is quite the change from previous Fallout's as a dismembered limb meant instant death for any opponent. Several different weapons can also be seen during the footage such as a flamethrower, a sniper rifle and some sort of single shot revolver type fire spewing mechanism. There are many more weapons displayed in the pip boy, including what appears to be a gauntlet, but the footage is too grainy to make out the names. Although Fallout 4 is an all new game, the HUD will remind you of Fallout 3 right away so fans should feel right at home.
Fallout 4 will be released on November 10th 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
