It was announced a few weeks ago that EA had some surprises for players in regards to Star Wars Day, and today EA has announced what those surprises are. For those that don't know, May 4 is dubbed Star Wars Day in honor of the infamous movie series created by George Lucas over twenty years ago. To celebrate this, all Battlefront players who log into the game on May 4 will receive 4,444 credits added to their account. A new Hutt Contract will be available to players as well. Hutt Contracts were introduced back in March, and they allow players to pay credits for the bounties and earn really high rewards. During this time, any players who spend between 3500 and 8000 credits will allow them to be eligible to newer "hidden" bounties. Upon completion of these bounties, players will receive the Bacta Bomb Star card, which gives a slight health boost to said player and teammates.

In addition to the bonuses on Battlefront, there will also be a PC trial for the game. PC users will be able to Origin's website and download it, however it will only be available for four hours. It will start at 11 A.M. PST, and go until somewhere around 3 P.M. PST. Players will not have access to any of the downloadable content that has been released so far, but they will have full access to everything else in the game.

Star Wars: The Old Republic will also be seeing some special content and bonuses as well. For those that log in from now until May 4 will receive a brand new companion, the M4-I6 Zakuulan Astromech Droid. The Knight of the Fallen Empire DLC was also available for free for players until today, however it is still available for purchase for players who still want it. Those who play from May 3 through May 10 will be able to enjoy double experience and double legacy experience, as well as double PvP commendations and double requisitions in Starfighter mode.

To top it all off, the mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will be offering a 25% discount on crystals, the in-game currency in which players can use to purchase different data cards. Starting today, a different game mode will over double the rewards each day through May 5. Galaxy of Heroes is a mobile game that was released in November of last year for both iOS and Android. It allows players to collect their favorite Star Wars characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Han Solo. Players can also create teams and battle one another in RPG-style combat to unlock more characters and progress through the game.

Overall, EA has done a stellar job in regards to making players happy on one of the biggest un-official holidays of the year. May the 4th be with everyone that plays next week!
