EA Announces Mirror's Edge Catalyst Closed Beta Sign-Ups

As we inch closer towards the May 24th release date for Mirror's Edge Catalyst, it's only natural to expect EA to start doing everything they can to start building hype for the game for new players and fans of the original game alike. EA began their hype train by releasing the story trailer along with opening up sign-ups for fans to get a chance at gaining access to the upcoming closed beta which currently does not have any release date. The beta will be available on the Origin PC client, and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.

The new story trailer gives gamers a small taste of freerunning Faith's upcoming adventure in the city of Glass. The trailer reveals Faith's nemesis as Gabriel Kruger, a powerful man feared by many people in the city of Glass, especially in Faith's crew of Runners. The trailer shows Gabriel's destructive path of vengeance against Faith after steals an unknown device from him. Slaughtering anyone who gets in his way, it's pretty clear Gabriel Kruger is not a man to be trifled with. With colorful visuals, a massive open world, and a unique first-person experience, Mirror's Edge Catalyst is definitely a game you should check out.
