Dragon Fin Soup is almost here. The upcoming tactical-action RPG will be making its way to all current Sony gaming platforms next Tuesday on November 3rd. The developers have aimed to give the game a blend of multiple genres in order to provide players with a unique gaming experience. The game will feature 2D top-down style gameplay, and will be set in a comedic fairytale world with turn-based combat to let players move at their own pace.

Dragon Fin Soup is based upon different fairy tales, so don't be surprised if you notice some elements from childhood stories you were told. The main character, Red Robin, is based upon the classic story, Little Red Riding Hood. The developers don't want to retell the fairy tales the game gets its inspiration from though. They want to stick a knife into your childhood memories. So in this case, while Red Robin is a cheerful person, she's also an angry alcoholic and a bounty hunter. The game takes place in a vibrant fantasy world called Asura, which just so happens to be resting on the back of a gigantic space turtle. Robin wants to rediscover who she is and the world around her after she lost her memories in a devastating accident she was in. As the story progresses, she will learn more about her violent past and the world around her.

The game will feature dynamic day and night cycles, and will allow players to participate in various activities such as crafting, gathering items, fishing, and of course story missions and multiple other quests that are randomly generated. When you don’t feel like doing missions, you’ll be able to explore the land of Asura and all it has to offer. Dragon Fin Soup will feature over 60 hours of gameplay, a Story, Survival, and Labyrinth mode. Along with mercenaries you can hire to assist you, and various pets to collect. In addition to this, the world is procedurally-generated so you’ll have a different experience each time you play.

Dragon Fin Soup launches on November 3rd 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
