The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta kicks off for everyone on January 14 and runs until January 16. It will feature 11 playable characters. While many of them were available in the game's closed beta back in September, it also includes the newly announced Beerus, Kid Buu, adult Gohan, and Nappa. The full lineup consists of:
  • Goku
  • Vegeta
  • Adult Gohan
  • Frieza
  • Kid Buu
  • Cell
  • Picolo
  • Krillin
  • Nappa
  • Android 18
  • Beerus
Additionally, the beta will feature seven stages and a handful of modes to try out. Players will also be able to witness two Dramatic Scenes, which recreate iconic moments from the anime and manga series when you meet certain conditions.

Players who pre-order Dragon Ball FighterZ digitally on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will gain access to the beta one day early, on January 13. You'll also be able to jump into the demo early if you pre-order the physical Dragon Ball FighterZ Collector's Edition. Everyone who pre-orders Dragon Ball FighterZ will unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta as a bonus.
