BioWare, the game development team praised for their compelling narrative games and addicting RPGs, has had an interesting change in pace for their upcoming game, Mass Effect: Andromeda. Details on the next entry in the Mass Effect series have been kept secret by BioWare, with the only known information being that the game will take place after the events in Mass Effect 3 and that it will take place in the Andromeda galaxy as opposed to the Milky Way galaxy like the rest of the series. The Senior Development Director at BioWare, Chris Wynn, has announced his departure from BioWare and his return to the US to "join the passionate N7 community."
Despite his resignation from BioWare, Wynn went on to praise the team behind Andromeda for being "the most talented team that [Wynn] has ever worked with." He continued, saying that it was "truly inspiring to have worked with [the team] each and every day." The exact details of Wynn leaving BioWare is not known, nor is it known how this will affect the development of Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Though BioWare is known for their ingenuity in their massive popular game series, Dragon Age and Mass Effect, the loss of someone so high up in their development team could have a major impact on the production of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Chris Wynn's reasons for leaving BioWare have yet to be stated, but if that information is released, there will be some telling insight as to how the production of Mass Effect: Andromeda is going behind the scenes.
