First things first, the new armor. We will be receiving a brand new spring line of armor that is sure to keep your Guardian fashionable. From new Faction-based armor to an ominous looking Taken outfit, there are plenty of styles to choose from! To add on to this, we will also be getting Chroma. Chroma is a new way to add luminous glow to your armor. It's obtained through Sterling Treasure boxes and is really cool! This brings us to our next topic...
Sterling Treasure boxes! These boxes will contain rare loot, ranging from ships to sparrows to armor and more! You can obtain these boxes via a few different methods. The first is to purchase them from Tess at the Eververse Trading Company, which means that we will be able to buy armor, Chroma, ships etc with real money. However, if giving Destiny even more of your hard-earned money turns you off, no worries, you can obtain them totally free as well! You have the ability to collect three treasures for free each week by visiting the postmaster, completing the level 41 version of the Prison of Elders, and by playing the weekly featured Crucible match!
Last but not least, we will be seeing Year One legendary weapons come back, with up to 330 light! They will drop from Vanguard and Crucible reward packages and there are quite a few of them! To accent this, reputation gains have been increased for strikes, the Crucible and the Prison of Elders, meaning more gear for guardians.
Here is a list of the Year One weapons returning so far (this is just what we know from the stream, there may be more!)
