Countdown to E3 2013 - Xbox 720?

Larry Hyrb, better known as Major Nelson, has released a countdown to E3 2013 on his website. With the countdown now slowly ticking away, the gaming community has sparked various heated discussions on an array of websites to speculate what exactly this means; some say it could be for Halo 5, whilst others say it is for the Xbox 720!

Personally I believe it will be an announcement for a new console. Rumours have circulated for months now with leaked specifications of the SDKs and what the launch titles will be. On the other hand, Major Nelson could just be simply counting down to E3.

And that's not all, CD ProjeKkt RED {The Witcher) are currently developing a game called Cyberpunk 2077. Tom Ohle, the director of Evolve PR, had tweeted and teased that he had been watching the trailer for the game; which is said to be released on the next gen console line up. The tweet said he had been "watching the trailer over and over again" and it "wasn't the final trailer". When fans had tweeted back, asking when they'd be able to feast their eyes on it, he replied with a time frame of "next week-ish". The tweets have since been deleted.

This is also another inkling into the E3 countdown, with trailers being made and a countdown being shown does this point towards an announcement for the next Xbox console? Only time will tell.
