Activision just announced the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's fourth and final DLC, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Reckoning. It will be available as a timed exclusive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on August 4th. The release on other platforms will follow, but no date was specified.

Reckoning features four new maps,Overload, Quarantine, Fracture, and Swarm. They will all be included in the Exo Grapple playlists that was introduced with Ascendance. Here is the official description of the new areas of destruction:
    • Overload: Enjoy the grand view of downtown New Baghdad from this exotic compound, complete with fountains, gardens and decorative plasma lamps. The map’s multiple levels and long perimeter site-lines highlight medium to long-range combat, and firing a shot at the lamps will send enemies flying in a burst of energy.
    • Quarantine: Following a deadly viral outbreak, the island has been converted into a biological testing center. This medium sized map’s tight corners dial up the speed and open areas combine to allow for any style of gameplay. Activate the map-based scorestreak to unleash a devastating ship-fired missile strike.
    • Fracture: Discover what secrets are locked in the ice in this arctic excavation site. Take refuge behind wind turbines and heavy equipment through large combat areas cradled on the shelf of a glacier. Stay alert as the timed event cracks the ice sheet, sending one lane sinking to the depths.
    • Swarm: Reconstruction is underway in Seoul, South Korea, congesting narrow corridors of this small to medium sized map with vehicles and equipment. Take position in war-scarred storefronts that provide plenty of cover over the streets or flank the enemy through close quarter interiors in the center of the map.
Furthermore, the DLC will also feature the concluding episode of Exo Zombies, Descent, where we will see John Malkovich turned undead accompanied by a new type of zombies, the "fused". Luckily there is a new weapon too, the Trident Reflected Energy Weapon.

The DLC pack is priced at $14.99, but is also included in the Advanced Warfare Season Pass.

Semi looking forward to this release. Zombies might be cool, definitely not as cool as a Treyarch release but I can appreciate their efforts.

Wait, what. John Malkovich is a zombie now?

[...]"they discover their friend and original squad member, John Malkovich, has been turned, and is now among the undead." This is from the press release, so I guess he is.

I hope this dlc will be better than the last three.

Maps look alright. Probably won't play them until they become part of the regular rotation though.

Exactly, it's annoying. They still don't have specific playlists for the DLC though. It's usually just TDM and Mosh Pit.
    3. Wavy
      True that.
    4. 3xTiNcT
I'll probably just play Exo Zombies first anyways.
  6. 3xTiNcT
I'll probably just play the new Zombie map and maybe play the multiplayer maps occasionally when this DLC is released.

Every time I look at a new trailer it makes me feel like I am missing out. But I know, once I buy it and play it, I will be highly disappointed.
