Borderlands 2 Headhunter 3: How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day

Christmas is soon upon us, and Gearbox has made us a holiday treat. The third Headhunter Pack for Borderlands 2, "How Marcus saved Mercenary Day" will be released December 17th to PC and Mac via Steam, Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation 3* via PlayStation Network. Price will be the same as the previous packs, USD $2.99 / GBP £2.39 / EUR 2,99 €. (*Expected to release on PlayStation 3 in Europe and Oceania on December 18.)

This Headhunter Pack is strongly themed around Christmas, and will even give you Borderlands' own Christmas carol, “Carol of the Bells” written and performed by one of Gearbox's own audio guys. The DLC starts up in Marcus's Mercenary Shop, located in the Dust, but soon takes us to the snowy town of Gingerton. Here you will have to help Marcus locate a missing train containing a large gun shipment. This naturally leads to a boss fight. The Abominable Mister Tinder Snowflake awaits. As usual, new heads and skins for each character comes with this DLC, and have already been leaked. If you want a sneak peak, take a look at this video.

This DLC was believed to be the last of the Headhunter Packs, and also the last DLC to arrive. But the 2K Blog reveals that is not the case: "And finally, be sure to stay tuned early next year as we’ll have more Headhunter goodness to talk about!"
