Since Activision and Treyarch started releasing hints about Call of Duty:Black Ops III via social media a while back, more and more information has found its way to the public. We have seen a few teaser trailers and some statements from the developers, and there has also been a significant amount of leaked information sparking a lot of rumors and speculation. A retail poster leaked yesterday to reveal the release date ahead of time, and not long after some images from a marketing pamphlet emerged on Reddit. These reveal a lot of juicy details on what we can expect to see considering both gameplay and content.

As with any leaked material, it is nearly impossible to determine if it is genuine, so we need to take it all with a few grains of salt. However, if the material is legitimate, this leak gives us detailed information on the campaign, multiplayer and also the much anticipated Zombies. Apparently, we can expect a campaign designed for co-op and re-playability, claiming to open up for 4 player online co-op and the delight of enjoying the campaign through "new open area arena-style gameplay elements designed to allow players to approach the game with a different strategy each time the play." You will have the freedom to customize your character as you wish via a system that sounds a lot like the ones we are used to from the multiplayer modes, allowing for weapon and loadout selection and choosing between several outfits and managing your abilities, "all with full progression systems and a personalized armory to show accomplishments."

Then on to the multiplayer, which will have brand new maps and mention nothing of the dreaded Exo suits:

"With Black Ops III, Treyarch premieres a new momentum-based chained-movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations, all while maintaining complete control over your weapon at all times."

It looks like players will have enhanced abilities similar to what we have seen in Advanced Warfare, but seemingly not with quite the same extreme features brought to us by the Exo suits. I'm sure a lot of fans are happy about that. Leveling up will remain the same in usual Traditional and Weapons XP progressions systems, but they are adding the Specialist character system, where each specific character’s battle-hardened capabilities and weapons also can be leveled up. This leaves players with 3 ways to level up.

And for all Zombies fans:

"No Treyarch title would be complete without its signature Zombies offering – a full-game experience with its own distinct storyline right out of the box.

Black Ops III Zombies is the most immersive and ambitious Call of Duty Zombies to date, with a full XP-based progression system for players that adds depth and re-playability to engaging gameplay Zombies fans have come to expect."

According to yesterday's leak, the game will launch on November 6th and give anyone who preorders the game entry to a beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If this means that the game is leaving old-gen behind remains to be seen, we will have to wait until tomorrow and the official reveal to find out whether or not any of this hold any truth at all.
