Activision will release Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles, a collection of eight classic maps from Treyarch’s Zombies series, next week on May 16 for PlayStation 4. The add-on for Black Ops 3 will cost $29.99. Developer Treyarch and Activision announced the Zombies DLC last week. The Zombies Chronicles add-on will include maps from Call of Duty games World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2. Zombies Chronicles updates the maps for modern hardware platforms. Here’s the official word on what’s new, via Activision:

The collection adds vibrant current-generation visuals, enhanced lighting, revamped character models and environments, and updated AI and audio systems. Zombies Chronicles also lets players use custom weapons, including current weaponry featured in Black Ops III that wasn't featured in the original maps.

Zombies Chronicles, which will only be available digitally, will also give players the following:

20 Vials of Liquid Divinium

2 All-New Whimsical GobbleGums

Exclusive Zombies Pack-A-Punch Weapon Camo

Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Dynamic System Theme for PlayStation 4 (exclusive pre-order incentive), featuring artwork by renowned artist

Activision hasn't announced when Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles will come to other platforms like Xbox One and PC. Downloadable content for Call of Duty games are typically exclusive to PlayStation platforms for about a month, per a marketing arrangement with Sony.
