Only a short few hours ago, BioWare announced that Mass Effect 3 will receive a free DLC package called "Extended Cut." This DLC looks to put more emphasis in the events seen at the end of the game by expanding them and refining certain key areas that left the majority of Mass Effect 3 players vexed.
BioWare's co-founder, Dr. Ray Muzyka, stated: "Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes. Extended Cut will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC." he also went on to say: "We are all incredibly proud of Mass Effect 3 and the work done by Casey Hudson and the team. Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans and we are responding."
Casey Hudson, Mass Effect 3's executive producer, also added to this by saying: "We have re-prioritised our post-launch development efforts to provide the fans who want more closure with even more context and clarity to the ending of the game, in a way that will feel more personalised for each player."
As of now, no solid release date has been confirmed other than Summer. We'll be sure to keep you updated!
