Although many Batman fans were disappointed to see Batman: Return to Arkham delayed indefinitely, they may still be in luck. Telltale Games announced that Batman - The Telltale Series will launch digitally in August for console, PC, and mobile users. The specific release date will be confirmed next week through the game's world premiere trailer.

Telltale went on to say that Batman - The Telltale Series will be receiving a physical release in North America and Europe, on September 13th and September 16th respectively through a season pass disc. The physical release will be available on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Playstation 4.

For fans heading to the San Diego Comic Con next week, Troy Baker, who voices Batman in the upcoming game, will be present to play the game with fans on the big screen. Attendees should be happy to know that they will be directly making the choices on-screen through shouting what they would like to see.

The game was originally announced last December with an expected release date sometime during Summer 2016. While a lot of the game is still unknown, much information was released last month during E3, from major story characters to screenshots of the game. Be sure to check out the announcement trailer if you haven't already by clicking here.

Also, as part of the agreement between Telltale and Warner Bros, The Walking Dead Season 3 will be receiving a physical release after its digital launch, much like Batman - The Telltale Series will be later next month. Telltale also has many other projects in the works such as the second season of Game of Thrones and an unannounced Marvel game.

I've literally played all of the Telltales except Wolf Among Us. I'm looking forward to the Batman Telltale, I wonder if it will come with a Platinum trophy or not? We'll soon see.

Wow, I love that art style. Hopefully this isn't shot-down before official launch, like some other Batman games.
