The Batman: Arkham franchise gets a new installment to the series with Batman: Arkham Origins, set to release October 25 of this year.
Set a few years before Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the new game features a larger Gotham City with a younger, less sophisticated Batman just beginning to develop his career as a crime fighter. As the game unfolds, he will meet many important characters in the Batman universe for the first time, developing key relationships and cementing the overall storyline.
“Batman: Arkham is a huge triple-A videogame franchise and we are delighted to expand the experience with Batman: Arkham Origins,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “WB Games Montréal has an incredibly talented team building upon Rocksteady’s award-winning gameplay and technology to deliver a deep, immersive, quality experience fans will love.”
