    Fortnite's 4.2 content update is now available, and along with finally introducing jetpacks to the game, it marks the beginning of a new limited-time mode in Battle Royale. The second iteration of the Solid Gold event is now underway on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS, and as before, the theme of the mode is Legendary weapons.

    Free Battlefield 1 Expansion DLC Available Now

    Presumably to celebrate the upcoming reveal of Battlefield V, EA giving away one of the expansion packs for 2016's Battlefield 1. The game's In the Name of the Tsar expansion, which includes a new army and six more maps, is now free on Xbox One and PS4.

    Epic is readying a new batch of content for Fortnite. Following last week's patch, the 4.2 content update arrives on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS devices tomorrow, May 22, and it introduces the long-delayed jetpacks into Battle Royale mode.

  14. Rainbow Six Siege Operation Para Bellum Update Launching In June

    As promised, Ubisoft pulled back the curtain on Rainbow Six Siege's next big update, Operation Para Bellum, during the Siege Pro League Finals this past weekend. The update rolls out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this June and will kick off the second season of Year 3 with two new Operators, an additional map, and a variety of other changes in what Ubisoft calls "one of the largest content updates yet" for the tactical shooter.
  15. Resident Evil 7 Confirmed For Switch, But Only In Japan

    Resident Evil 7 is on the way to Nintendo Switch. Capcom confirmed today that a "Cloud Version" of the horror game is headed to Nintendo's hybrid system in Japan on May 24.
