Following some previous confusion over how much longer PC players would have to wait for Nier: Automata, we now know it will be a matter of only about a week. Square Enix has confirmed that Nier: Automata launches for Steam on March 17. That's just a matter of days after its PS4 release on March 7 in the US and March 10 in Europe. The demo, unfortunately, remains PS4-only.

As with the PS4 version, a Day One edition will be available that includes bonus digital content. (Unfortunately, you won't get the t-shirt that inspired a delightfully strange video.) You'll receive most of this no matter where you buy the game, but picking it up on Steam for a limited time also nets you a special item that references Valve's loading screen logo.
