    Bootrom exploits can only be patched by designing new hardware. The iBoot exploit on the other hand can be patched and that's why the team is keeping it for private use. There is no such thing as a 100% secure OS

    Just speed of the SSD and sometimes processor. I get about 1 GB speeds vs 500 mb speeds because I have two 1 TB ssds with a RAID configuration which basically gives them double the speed

    Yeah from hitting the power button to ready to log in or logged in. (depending on your settings) It may be closer to 5 seconds for you but thats still fast :P

    You'll love that SSD lol. Everything opens instantly. Also: You may want to switch your normal hard drive to your optical drive SATA and your SSD to your main SATA. It will be faster that way

    Yes you can fit one in there but you will need to buy a mounting bracket to secure it in place. Bracket Also I would recommend crucial SSDs as they're specially designed for UNIX systems. recommended: SSD Boot time is about 3 seconds. :) Heres about what I get with mine:

    Did you buy this brand new? iPads shouldn't have activation lock enabled out of the box. If you have the receipt for it and you bring it into an apple store they should be able to reset it for you
