Regardless of skill level, if you really think it is the electrical side of the motherboard...you need a IGBT & Mosfet Tester and have to start pulling ALL of the 15-25 mosfets off of the motherboard, testing each one individually. Then, if you find a faulty one, you have to have spares to...
I do reflows if you are interested...and if it is truly an electrical issue, I can always fix it for you...pretty much has to be a dead bored for me not to be able to fix it anymore.
All you have to do is dump the nand that is currently on it, get a donor, and swap the KV and re-encrypt the donor with your CPU key from the JTAG.
Very simple, take 15 minutes tops.
Reball the Hana = Problem solved
Side note: I reflowed both of the chips on that PS3 and it's still Red Light :\
Not sure if I wanna try reballing it or not or if it is just better off left alone for you to try and resell for parts/repairable. You can get away with selling it like that before...
That is not what is causing the error. The pins on the bottom of the USB tower are bridged on almost every console, that's not an issue.
0021 is your GPU/Southbridge...reflow will more than likely solve the issue for you. Unbridging those pins is not gonna do anything, I promise. I've got over...
I was vouched for one of the most respected staff members (who also had the full suport of the site owner)...
I'm the only one on these forums who can do the in depth level of repair work that I put out...so be wary of who you actually trust with it
JTAG Tool's donor nands are missing the config files...they don't work 99% of the time.
iMoses has a library for every single donor nand...100% working and authentic (I would know..I made him give me copies of them lol)
If you contact him, I'm sure that he can hook you up
xbox is having some issues with their software right now...
If you haven't heard, for instance, the language filter has been removed from the Gamertag creation right now. So yes, you can change your name to "I **** Goats" or something stupid.
I called one of my friends I know there last night...
If the dash is pre-nxe then the console is not jtagged...it would be jtaggable.
You are correct that some games require a more recent dashboard, for instance you cannot play Black Ops on a 9199 freeBOOT (i don't think :S )
USB support works in all of the consoles I've ever used, I have had a...

Buy a identical BenQ off of eBay...
Take the PCB board out of your original drive
Take the PCB board out of the new drive
Install the original PCB board into the brand new drive

If it is E79 everytime you wire it and install Xell/Xellous, then one of three things is to blame:
1. Bad wiring or bad diodes
2. Bad smc
3. You were not careful whenever you were soldering the wires in, and have burnt out the rings and caused the traces to disconnect.
Xenon, flash the xenon...
1. If the console is already jtagged, you will not have to install freeBOOT...it is already installed onto it. If you do want to get a way to read/write to the NAND and you don't want to use the IP method, you can use a NAND-X from Team Xecuter or a USB SPI Flasher.
2. freeBOOT is nothing more...
The DVD Key in your NAND does not match the one in the DVD Drive, your drive needs to be spoofed to match the one in the NAND or it will never work.
As for the torrents...no idea :\
I live in Indiana. I can do it for you for $40 + the return shipping as long as that is the only problem with it.
That'll be worst case scenario, if I can fix it without having to do a NAND transplant, the price will just be $25 + return shipping.
Google bad NAND flash recovery...there are some TuTs out there...I don't want to advise you to one just for the simple fact it can cause more harm than good if you mess up...and I don't want
ZOMGFUICY YOU GAVE ME A BAD TUT...so I'll just let you find the one you feel comfortable with
You obviously didn't read much of it then...
"Homebrew games for older systems are typically developed using emulators for convenience, since testing them requires no extra hardware on the part of the programmer."
Emulators, software designed to emulate older games for newer consoles...
If your nandpro is no longer detecting the NAND chip but it was earlier....one of two things has happened:
You have killed the NAND chip and it's going to need a NAND transplant
or
You have locked the NAND chip up and it's going to need to be reset (which can be very tricky and cause more...
@Red - You just need to erase the NAND that is currently flashed and reflash the original via LPT or USB SPI/NAND-X
