On the BlackMarketUpgrades...it will not make your totals go up...all it does is reset the black market(1 is when you first buy an sdu upgrade) .....if you reset them all to 1 and then goto the black market you can buy backpack sdu 4 times....and this will increase the BlackMarketUpgrades that counter from 1 to 5...go to the currency tab and increase your eridium to 999 and you can increase your backpack...you have to go into the game and increase your slots and then exit and save....then rest the BlackMarketUpgrades value from 5 to 1 again and you can keep doing this.....till you have as many slots you want....also in the backpack tab you can change the level of your weapons ...you can also on the player tab edit your skill point so you can max your characters skill tree.....i have not tried to increase my exp level or exp points yet...but so far the tool works very good

hopes this helps some...
This seems pretty logical, albeit a very time-consuming method... But raising those numbers always increases my ammo totals, so I don't know why you say they don't... And I go way past 5... The highest I've gone is 50 and all my ammo is in the thousands, with grenades being at around 55 and my RPG's over 100.

Another thing I thought of that may work for the backpack/bank spaces is how you have the ability to just create a weapon and it adds on to your slot, so you just make a ton of empty weapons - maybe that would raise the number as well? I haven't tested this, but I may tomorrow when I get home from work.

Isn't 28 the default number with max upgrade?
No that's the backkack and I believe its 27. the max for bank spaces if im not mistaken is 16. weird thing though, I tried the method suggested in an earlier post by radroni and reset my black market SDUs so I could purchase more spaces. While I was able to purchass the SDUs and my backpack did increase in size, none of the ammo was affected, and not did the bank spaces not increase, but I lost the additional 12 slots I had added with the editor.
So in my opinion, while i do appreciate radroni clearing that up for me, I find that a rather tedious method for increasing Bkapk space when I can do it in Python in about 4 mouse clicks. until backpack slots is added I'll be going to Python for that.

Is there a Python tutorial somewhere? I know there's a thread here about a tool editor FOR Python, but how does it work with BL2?

I used the python script to upgrade my backpack, wasn't able to use the editor the change its value. But changed the value of the ammo pools in the Raw - Blackmarket to 15 and all upgraded fine.

The Python editor is super easy. It only works for the basics backpack space, skill points etc. You cant mod guns with it, but there's nothing hard about it. You install Python and you install the borderlands2 editor. You type in the spaces you want, click mod, boom. Ok theres one or two other steps but theres a really great tut here.
The downloads are included.

Gibbeds is great for weapons and items, but until it has a simple backpack space mod, The Python one is the way to go for pack space. its super fast and easy. I don't know why everyones so intimidated by it. Im no hacker. If I could do it on the first try anyone who does this type of stuff can too. I'm still super psyched about Gibbeds though. I love adding my favourite scopes to my legit finds. I just don't want to increase my pack 15 spaces at a time.

Oh wow. I just watched the above video and now I get why people are so hesitant to use Python. The complicated method above IS NOT what I was talking about in my posts recommending Python. What I am referring to is a very simple BL2 editor that requires Python to be installed in order to run. Once Python is installed this little editor works in a similar way to Gibbeds. You need Python 2.7.3 Windows Installer and the BL2 mod tool http://www.mediafire.com/?72aif821h4i92i0. Theres a link to a simple tut on how to set it up in my previous post. but it's really quite straight forward. Its not the most sophisticated mod tool, but it does allow you to enter the amount of backpack spaces you want. Of course you should always make a backup first. Im surprised more people aren't using it because it's so easy. No command script writing necessary

I tried using Python and a two different mod tools but couldn't get either one to work because apparently my computer didn't know what to run .bat stuff as, and when I tried to get this tool thing to fix it, it still didn't work. On one mod tool, my new SaveData.sav would always be 0kb and would not work, so I just gave up.

For this BL2 tool it has to be Python 2.7.3 not the more recent one. If you download the 2 tools I posted in my previous post and follow the instructions in the tut I posted the link to you should have no problem. I tried it again this time on my crappy netbook and it worked perfectly giving my gunzerker 200 backpack spaces. Follow the text tut I posted the link to and ignore that video. Has anyone else tried this method? Its pretty straight forward. I don't know enough about this stuff to understand why Gibbeds doesn't include a simple backpack window but this python tool does and it works great. Hopefully Gibbeds will too eventually because I would prefer to only use it because it can do so much. But I don't have the patience to raise my inventory 3 spaces at a time

I downloaded two different mods (the other mod even had a python installation so you couldn't get the wrong one anyway). My problem isn't running them, it's that once I do everything and I get to the point (in this case, using this mod) where I click the "Mod Borderlands 2" button, it doesn't do anything because my computer doesn't run the .bat properly. I didn't mess with the file association because I haven't run a .bat before on this computer before, so when I initially started my computer didn't have any program associated with .bat files.

If you know what I'm supposed to choose for them, please tell me.

Edit: It was a pain in the *** to look for, but I had to go in to command prompt to restore .bat to default and delete the .bat keys within the regedit, but now it works.

Already had python downloaded.. but i've had trouble with it corrupting my saves, i've also had trouble with other tools for python.. Just downloaded this tool by brad and followed the tutorial, works like a charm
the only thing i needed it for was backpack space, I still use gibbed for everthing else, but thank you to all who were involved with this

Im glad to hear that. Im not a really "computery" guy. I only mod when someone makes a good mod tool. Thats why I am surprised to see so many posts wanting backpack space and so few people using this quick simple method. I'm not going to repeat all my previous explanations but anyone who wants to easily and quickly raise their inventory space without having to buy SDUs in game everything you need including a very str8 forward tut is right here http://www.360haven.com/forums/showthread=18700-[release]-release-borderlands-2-mod-tool-print.html
Glad you liked it Mnaltner

Nope,16 is the max with standard bought upgrades.
6 at start+5 upgrades which give 2 slots each.
And 28 isn't the max at all,I have 42 on my saves.
Pretty easy:
First set the 9th value in BlackMarketUpgrades to 18.
18x2slots=36+6standard=42,so set the MaxBankSlots to 42.
That's the max I could get it this far with any method, anything higher and the slots are set to 10.
Just set all values in the BlackMarketUpgrades the same as in the image.
vi-hFfjtA.png

Then set the MaxBankSlots to 42
vi-g6np0T.png

And last set all current ammo values to 2147483647.(Don't worry, they change to 2.147484E+09 automatically but that's ok)DO NOT change the UpgradeLevel,no need to and I don't know what happens then since I never tried.
vi-2jWhqN.png

Congrats, now you have 42 bank slots and infinite ammo.
You still have to reload but the ammo regenerates as fast as you can waste it.
Have fun!!!

I tried the new Fast Travel tab (R113) and selected all the locations, but when I loaded my game I still didn't have any of the ones that I already didn't have - also tried to selecting a location that I didn't have as the last one visited but just spawned me to a random one I did have.

So my question is how does this work, or does anyone have and updated list so I can add it like below.

Unlocking places to Fast travel to,
