Click the image to open in full size.Today Microsoft beated their chests and made every fanboy get extremely excited by announcing that they have sold 6 million Xbox 360s in Europe. This is an interesting time for the 360, having been about for a tenaciously vicious three years, battling the dominance of the Wii and being baffled by the bizarre dance of the PS3.

Microsoft has been having a rough time in mainland Europe, with Spain, France and Germany all being a bit cautious of the system. The UK, on the other hand, seems to be enjoying it and is pulling in respectable numbers for the company. Last Friday Microsoft got even more agressive on their pricing in the territory, pushing prices down a further £30 across all SKUs in the UK and knocking some dosh off the Euro price too.
