Xbox 360 outsells PS3 and Wii in Japan
Click the image to open in full size.Finally our friends in the Japan are seeing the light, 360's are actually selling over there now. A report by the publishers of Famitsu-Eterbrain-has shown that in the week ending 14th September, 360 has outsold the competition. Probably due to the immense success of JRPGs such as Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Esperia, the Japanese stores actually ran out of the Microsoft console a few weeks back, which shows the demand that the system was experiencing. The figures for the week were:

Xbox 360: 28,681 units
Wii: 27,057 units
PlayStation 3: 8,050 units

Let's hope that the trend continues as time goes on, as this spells good things in 360's favour in the ongoing battle for console supremacy. Doubt we'll see Gears of War 2 at the top of the sales chart over there though.

It's because the sales in Japan have been sluggish. With the exlclusive RPGs coming out for it people now want to buy it. Japanese gamers have different intrests in games, like fantasy, RPG, and anime games. Not as popular here, but Nintendo and Sony get lots of those games for Japan only. Now that the 360 has some exclusive ones that got great reviewes, people want the 360.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before they sold more consoles. lol. ...Of course it could just be that everyone that wanted a wii saw the new Dashboard design for 360. lol
