Many teams working on Halo
Click the image to open in full size.Recently the Halo franchise has extended beyond the original gameplay to include the anticipated RTS Halo Wars and the rumored Halo Chronicles by Peter Jackson. Astoundingly, Microsoft's Games Studios head Phil Spencer confirms with GamesIndustry.biz that actually many development teams are working on a variety of projects. "There's more than one team building Halo games right now. There are more than two or three teams building Halo things right now" affirms Spencer.

Fans of the Halo world will undoubtedly see this as a blessing. The rest however can be wondering if this one trick pony is just trying to wear drifferent get-ups.

Yeah, I hope they do something different.

Still love ALL of the Halo series, but I want to see something new and different. That's how it came to be, so let's see if they can live up to it yet again.
