After contributing to Takahashi of Venture Beat's article on the origin and reasoning behind the problems surrounding Microsoft's Achilles Heel, the RRoD, an Xbox tester got canned. Robert Delaware, a contract tester, though it was "the moral thing to do." Good ol' Microsoft however doesn't agree.
Mr. Delaware not only lost his job, he is also up for alleged civil cases by both Microsoft and the temp agency that handled the contract, Excell Data. In Takahashi's report dubbed
The Xbox 360 Uncloaked: The Real Story Behind Microsoft’s Next-Generation Video Game Console Delaware revealed propietary information about Microsoft's tight lipped bug policy and how it adversaly affected NBA 2k6 even causing the RRoD.
Delaware may maintain some sort of whistleblower protection, but the fact remains that he violated his non-disclosure agreement.
