
Ozzy fellas (or mates) have to deal with higher prices in gaming and a very restrictive ratings board and now all that crazyness is showing its effects on gamers' minds down under: Australians are buying more Arcade SKUs than they are Pros or Elites. That is according to official data from Xbox Australia. The very likely explanation for this "phenomenon" is that, with recent price cuts, the Arcade got 50 Australian dollars cheaper than the Wii, making it the cheapest console around (except for the PS2) the land where the wallabees roam.
Now people are connecting some imaginary dots and speculating that the likeability of a new price drop for the US market is high and that with the Arcade at 199U$ we would observe a similar trend in sales in North America. That is certainly a possibility, don't you guys think so?
