Brett Farve? Never heard of him

Madden NFL Football '09 hit retailer's shelfs today and it only took a few hours for someone to discover that Brett Favre's name was mispelled on the collector's edition's menu screen (screenshot above).

You know, this is not looking like a good year for EA's Madden. First Favre switches teams in between shooting for the cover of the game and the actual release date, so the game came out with an outdated (or vintage for the overly optimistic) cover and now this. Maybe there will be an update that fixes the mistake, but the data on the disc will always be wrong (or until EA pays Favre to change his name).

Ok, maybe I am blowing this out of proportion, but you know some fool is going to swing by and start saying that Favre actually used a reverse-spell to turn the Madden curse on to EA and that now any publisher that puts its logo on the cover of Madden will have a bad Madden year and the only way to fix this is to mispell Madden... Maybe I am the fool. But what do you think about this? Are you not getting the collector's edition because of this? Are you going to boicot Madden/EA? Are you going to say "I don't like football"?
