Yesterday, Edge Magazine held its yearly award's ceremony in Edimburgh and Halo 3 took home the Edge Award For Interactive Innovation.

The honor is described by the organizers as an "accolade to the title released in the last 12 months that does most to further the creative culture of gaming – in other words, to mark out new directions for the form." The judges' choice was summed up in the Edge website today with the following words:

Yeah i guess it kind of deserved this.

But CoD4 is still bettter, I like H3 for campaign with friends in RL or XBL. Multi sucks.

halo 3 was kinda what i expected it be, yeah weird huh?

I mean i expected it to be not that great or what people thought it was going to be.

Very cool that they won an award for it, but it was an upset to me online.
