First off, thanks for the tutorials. I got the one on restoring an xbox drive to retail to work perfectly.

Trying to softmod is a different story, unfortunately. I think I must be doing something wrong with NDure, but I don't know what.

I rebuilt the (stock) drive using your other tutorial, booted into the MS dashboard and found out I have the 3944 kernel. I followed this tutorial using the below options for NDure:

I unlocked the drive (unlockhd -a), wiped the partition table (xboxhd option 5), then rebuilt the drive from my shiny new ISO. Re-locked the drive (lockhd -a), plugged it into the xbox, and on bootup, I get the green blob followed by a black screen (no errors, but no dash). I've also tried using the 'Generic' option for the kernel specific items, with the same result. Any idea what could be going wrong?

How exactly do you get XDK on the original xbox or is it not possible.

I have heard people do it but i can not really find a tut on it. I thing it is possible though.

im having the same problem. did you ever get it figured out?
