This is a great tut but there are a few parts that can be kinda confusing if you've never done this before.

Ok, lets see... You should make the part about error 12 a little more clear because some of us have our xboxs open so maybe put an **Important** **Important** thing around it or something like that. Also you should say you need to burn the iso with iso burning software and NOT make a data CD (thats what i did when you were helping me), if i think of anymore i'll let you know.

Hi,

Thanks for the tutorial but i have a problem.
When i burn the cd as the steps describe, i can't boot with it.

And when i take a look inside the ISO file, i see that no boot files are in the root of the ISO.

Is that correct or what am i doing wrong ?

If you did it the way with the command prompt popping up, the ISO will be bootable. If you open it up in a program like MagicIso then it will tell you its bootable. But if by some chance its not. Try extracting XboxHDM again and moving the modified files to the correct folders.

Got it bootable (noobisch, but i selected the wrong cd drive to boot ), but now when i type xboxhd script or any other command, it says it can't find the linux partition. What should i do ?

xboxhd script? Is that what you type. You should only have to type numbers, xboxhd, or xbrowser. Does it ask you if you want to continue even though it cant find the partition?

Hi,

I get the menu with the 4 options. Pressing 1 results into some text mentioning to type xboxhd or xbrowser.

However, none of them result in doing someting except for messaging the linux partition could not be found.

When i try option 4(the dos lock/unlock tools) it doesnt find any hard drives.

Yes it needs to be unlocked.

No, you can run the script and the hdd doesnt even have to be attached. Your boot config for your computer may be blocking some settings.
