I modded maps and put them back on the E drive and replaced them with the originals, but when ever i go tio load them it says failed to load map. How do i bypass that?

last week i used this tutorial and it worked i was getting on xbox live. Now i have added more files to my xbox hard drive and i used this tutorial to try to get on xbox live but now its not working. i start from step one and do everything it says but when i go to log in i always am getting the trouble shooter. when i load up evox DHCP is assigning it an ip address, it just wont let me connect. I have stock everything, never made any hardware mods. I have 1 game on my hard drive, many emulators and apps. does any of this affect me trying to get on live? Any ideas y i cant get on live or how to get on live?

wow ur all telling me that u cant gte on live without uninstalling? I never unistalled my softmod its on now and i play everything fine. You just turn it off its so simple lol

i dunno about everyone else but i just recently installed an Evox dash and it hate it. I can't get my original dash back because it got deleted. but as far as XBL, I haven't ever had a problem. I just cold boot and it works fine, i never unplugged my router or anything. maybe i'm just lucky.

thats weird wen i softmodded my xbox i neve had to do anything. i could just sign on and play normally. but after a ew games i randomly got booted, so i uninstalled the soft mod then put it back in and i can go on xbox live wenever i want normallly and i havent gotten booted ever since [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif[/img]

No you dont need a router, you can go strait from your modem to the xbox console. all the router does is connect your computer, modem, and console (or any other ethernet cables) togather. this allows you to be online with your xbox and pc, and this allows you to ftp because (from my knowlage) with out a router you cannot mod your xbox.

well i found a softmod file.... not sure if its sid but definitely not itools(that stuff is ****) and i might post it sooner or later or have someone else post this file because ok well it comes with a dvd burner... trainers for all ur games on xobx.... the typical unleashx and evox dashboards..plus EASY features for ftping

Well, I've got a great softmod tutorial that I'll be releasing to the public VERY soon. Right now I'm still adding more pictures and extras here and there. The new tutorial will allow you to get on live in 2 steps! All you would have to do is hit the eject button and put the game in! So be on the look out for that tutorial!
