How To Ftp To Your Xbox

Do whatever you did for your first Xbox...if you got it working before, why change it?

youll probably think im an idiot or somethin posting like that other guy but i tried 2 ip addresses and i got the same result for both and i have evolutionX and it said the first one was my IP and the second was a default gateway

You never set your IP to DHCP.

Ok I got a new router and now it works I FTP'd about 3 maps over to my xbox but now when ever I try to send something from my xbox to comp or vise versa the connection aborts someone plz help me

Yes, it's called wireless bridging, I think Krafty made a tut

Your XBOX should be on DHCP. Then restart and find what IP it has, then FTP to that IP

Ive got a rj45 ethernet cable. I heard plugging that into a router will lwt you ftp. True?

PS its a wireless router.

Yes

If your XBOX and your computer are both plugged into the router, then yes you can FTP

Thanks, but I have my xbox plugged into my wireless router along with my pc. I go to network settings on the xbox and it is on DHCP but it still says 'No Link'

No Link on the XBOX, where does it say that?? You'll want to find the IP of your XBOX, then from your computer FTP to that IP

Is the xbox's ip under 'Current IP' or 'IP Adress'? Ive tried under ip address but it wont show the files.

I have the best luck FTPing while in the SID menu, I'm not sure if you used SID or not, but that's what I have luck with
I've heard FTPing while using UnleashX creates problems sometimes

If you cant FTP with Unleashx or IE then download Avalaunch or install it using AID its a Dash bored made specifically for FTPing

ok i was able to transfer my first modded map to my xbox. it was cool. so i went bacl to make better ones, but now my FTP program (flashfxp), wont let me connect to my xbox. so i went to check my IP and it says my current IP is 0.0.0.0
