How to Copy Xbox Games

Very Good TUT. I copied H2 and it worked perfectly but I copied Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and it loads and all goes inside CJ,s house and all but once I get it the game automatically crashes can anyone help me out with this? Or tell me how they got a working GTA SA

i just tried to "backup" mechassualt and when i went to write the iso to dvd with dvd decypter is said it "unable to lock volume for exclusive access" i click continued and the dvd burn but it will not play in the xbox

does anybody no why?

never mind that post but i do have a question
will burned games work on none modded xboxs

Absolutely not. And they do not work if you try to go on live with them...your whole xbox will be banned from useing the XBL service...FOREVER.

My ****ing xbox wont read the burned games i burned...i burn them at 4x on the dvd-r disc and the dvd+r disc..still no read....its pissing me off can anyone help?

i just didnt patch the xbox XBE fil...after i patched it then it worked

hugey u cannot put an iso on the xbox it will not read the file there for not playing

Question:i used two dvd+r tryed to burn worms 3d and ghtp 1 but neither worked and some one told me i need a dvd-r is that true and will both +rw and -rw's work or what

and yes i know what rw means rewritable

You are right, you can't put .iso's on the disc for the Xbox. Thats why these are .xiso

And about your media question...it all depends on the player that you have and whether it is compatible with dvd- or +r.

well thats for dvd players right but when burning an xbox game do u use dvd-r or dvd+r and can u use a rewritable to burn an xbox game on because i burned 2 games on a dvd+r and neither worked

Like I said...it all depends on what DVD drive you have in your Xbox. You have to figure out which drive you have and what types (DVD-R &/or DVD+R) media you can use, and what brand is the best for you. For me...I've always found that the no name brands work the best...but thats just me.

i cannot get the disks to work i have a soft modded xbox with evox dash but when i burn it i burned it onto a dvd-r and dvd+r and neither worked whats wrong.it says unknown when it loads the disk

Yeah, if you had a larger hdd you can xfer it to there.

i dont wont them on my hard drive yet i just want to burn games when i get a 200gb hd i will put it in my xbox then i will just save them to my hd

try followin this and then just follow the part on how to make the iso and look for the directory with all your game contents
